Telemann - Sonata in C major [Scorch] [pdf] from “Der getrue Musicmeister”
There is a 1961 arrangement of this piece by Siegfried Behrend which, though it represents a musically satisfactory reduction of the harpsichord part for guitar is frustrating to play because a few sections are unnecessarily difficult for the guitarist (especially in the Allegro). I have therefore taken the opportunity provided by the MIDI version of the piece on the Virtual Recorder site http://www.recorderhomepage.net/midi.html to recast the whole arrangement. I hope I have managed to retain Behrend’s approach to the arrangement while providing a solution that is easier to finger.
